...I just heard the news that Leonard Nimoy, Spock's actor, passed away yesterday. This is the first time one of the original Star Trek cast has died since I've seriously been a part of this fandom. Some of you may remember me telling you how I'd watch the VHS tapes of some of the movies (particularly The Voyage Home) when I was a very small child, but that I didn't really think much about Star Trek afterward, until the 2009 "reboot" came out and I wanted to watch all the originals again.
